Step 3-b (A/C bands and evaporator) applies to models with air conditioning.

Replacement

  1. 1
    Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
  2. 2
    Remove the glove box and glove box frame.

    Remove the tapping screws (2) and remove the heater duct.

    Remove the A/C bands and the evaporator.

    Remove the mounting bolts (3).
  6. 5
    Disconnect the connectors from the blower motor, resistor and recirculation control motor, then remove the blower.

    Install the blower in the reverse order of removal and make sure there is no air leakage.
