15-49prose procedure
  1. 7
Remove the compressor mounting bolts (4) and compressor. Rest the compressor on the front beam.
    Compressor mounting bolts: 25 N·m (2.5 kg-m, 18 lb-ft)
Compressor removed after taking out the four mounting bolts, resting on the front beam; torque callout for the compressor mounting bolts.
  2. 8
Remove the mounting bolts (4) and compressor bracket with idle pulley.
    ALL TORQUE: 48 N·m (4.8 kg-m, 35 lb-ft); bolts 10 x 60 and 10 x 50
Compressor bracket with idle pulley removed via four mounting bolts (10 x 60 and 10 x 50); all-torque callout.
  3. 9
    Remove the compressor.
  4. 10
Install in the reverse order of removal and:
NOTE: Measure the deflection when 98 N (10 kg, 22 lb) force is applied between the pulleys.
Compressor belt Adjustment: 9-11 mm (0.35-0.43 in); 7-9 mm (0.28-0.35 in) when new belt is installed.
    Idle pulley nut: 48 N·m (4.8 kg-m, 35 lb-ft)
