Radiator fan (or condenser fan) does not run.

Turn the ignition, heater fan, A/C switches on.

Inspect the radiator (or condenser) fan motor.

Does the fan motor run?
NO
(Both not running) (To page 15-34)
YES

Turn the ignition switch OFF. Inspect No. 32 or No. 15 fuses.

Are the fuses OK?
NO
Replace the fuses.
YES

Inspect the relay of the fan motor that does not run. (See page 15-60)

Is the relay OK?
NO
Replace the relay.
YES

Disconnect the 2-P connector of the motor.

Turn the ignition switch ON and measure voltage between the BLU/BLK or BLK/YEL terminal (+) and BLK or BLU terminal (-).

Is there battery voltage?
YES
Replace the fan motor.
NO

Check for continuity between BLK or BLU terminal and body ground.

Is there continuity?
NO
Repair open in BLK or BLU wire or poor ground.
YES

Repair open in BLK/YEL or BLU/BLK wire.
