With power steering: Adjust the power steering belt.
Power steering belt adjustment: 9-12 mm (0.35-0.47 in); 7-10 mm (0.28-0.39 in) when new belt is installed.

• Check pulley bearing play and drag by rotating the pulley by hand. Replace the pulley with a new one if it is noisy or has excessive play/drag.

• Check resistance of the field coil. If resistance is not within specifications, replace the coil.
