Removal

  1. 1
    Remove the center pad.
  2. 2
    Remove the steering shaft nut.

    Remove the steering wheel by rocking it slightly from side-to-side as you pull steadily with both hands.
  4. 4
    Remove the cover panel under the steering column.

    Remove the steering joint cover.

    Remove the steering joint bolt, and move the joint toward the column.
