Removal

  1. 1
    Remove the lower molding mount nuts.
    Take care not to scratch or score the glass.

    Detach the 2 clips and from inside the car, use a knife to cut through the glass adhesive all the way around.
    Cutting the glass adhesive from inside the car with a knife after detaching the clips; enlarged cross-sections at the upper molding, clip, lower molding, and side molding show the adhesive, glass, and knife positions.

    Remove the glass.
  4. 4
    Remove the lower and side molding if the glass is to be reused.
    Do not damage the painted surface.
