Carpet/Door Sill Moldings - Replacement

    Remove:

    Pry out the clips and pull up the door sill moldings.
    Floor carpet and door sill molding layout on the car. Main view shows the floor pan with the carpet, door sill molding and clip locations, with inset details of the footrest pad, the clip and clip unit fasteners, a cross-section of the door sill molding/carpet/side sill/clip engagement, the push nut, and the 'A' cut area for pulling the carpet back.

    Remove the push nuts, then separate the door sill moldings and carpet.
  4. 4
    Pry out the clips at the rear edge and under the dashboard, peel off the tape and remove the clip nuts.
  5. 5
    Cut the (A) area first, then pull back the carpet as shown.
  6. 6
    Remove the carpet.
  7. 7
    Install the carpet in the reverse order of removal.
    Reattach the cut areas with tape and tie bands.
