    Remove the instrument panel (Page 14-55).

    Disconnect the speedometer cable.

    Remove the center upper lid from the top of the dashboard.
  4. 11
    Remove the side defroster garnishes from both ends of the dashboard.
  5. 12
    Lower the steering column (See section 11).
  6. 13
    Remove the dashboard mounting bolts.
  7. 14
    Lift and remove the dashboard.
    Reassembly NOTE:
    Make sure the dashboard fits onto the body correctly.
    Before tightening the dashboard bolts, make sure the dashboard wires are not pinched, and that the dashboard is not interfering with the heater control cable.
