Lighting Switch Replacement

  1. 1
    Remove the lower and upper covers from the steering column.
  2. 2
    Disconnect the 7-P and 4-P connectors.
  3. 3
    Remove the 2 screws and slide the lighting switch out of the housing as shown.
    Be carefull not to damage the steering wheel cover.

Dimmer Relay Test

  1. 1
    Remove the dimmer relays from the headlight units.
  2. 2
    There should be continuity between the A and C terminals when the battery is connected to the E and F terminals. There should be continuity between the B and C terminals when the battery is disconnected.
