Daytime Running Light system — a market-specific variant (typically KS/Canada). Test conditions 3 and 4 reference the lighting switch position and 5 references the dimmer switch Hi position.

Test conditionConnect the WHT terminal to the RED/BLK terminal.
Test: desired resultFront position lights, taillights and license plate lights should come on.
Possible cause (if result is not obtained)• Blown bulbs. • An open in the wire.

Test conditionConnect the WHT terminal to the RED/WHT terminal.
Test: desired resultHeadlights (Lo) should come on.
Possible cause (if result is not obtained)• Blown bulbs. • Blown No.10 (10A) or No.11 (10A) fuse. • Poor ground (G201, G301, G401).
